Before entering the executive recruiting arena, Art has over 20 years of operations experience as a tier one automotive supplier with companies such as Dana Corporation, Collins & Aikman and Bosch Brakes. As an executive recruiter, he has experience developing expertise in practically every production process that would be involved in a manufacturing environment. Over 40% of his searches are in the technical manufacturing field (Automation Engineering, Process Engineering, EHS, Maintenance or Quality). Approximately 20% of his searches are in finance and/or accounting in a manufacturing environment. Another 20% of his search expertise lies in recruiting professionals in the Lean/Operational Excellence areas.
Art received his degree in Education and History from the University of Tennessee at Martin.
